Google Adsense is Changing Application Process
Tuan Do | Updated On
Max Cohen, the Product Manager of Google Adsense, has announced some changes in the application process for publishers. It appears that Adsense is tightening the process in order to improve quality of Google advertising network. The changes are expected to protect advertisers as well as increase potential earnings for publishers.
So if you have already owned a website and want to get approved by AdSense, you should read the new application process carefully.
- After you submit a new application, your site and the submitted details will be preliminary checked by the Adsense team. If your application passes in the first stage, you then will receive a notifying email and get the Adsense account access.
- They will also provide you with the ad code so that you could place on your site. To continue the review process, you will need to implement the ad code on your site. This is the step to verify that you are the real owner of the submitted site. As this is just a temporary blank ad, you should place them at the bottom so that it won’t affect readers’ experience. Your Adsense account is still in review at this stage.
- It is almost done after the last step, now you just need to wait for the final approval. Adsense team will notify you via email and the temporary ad will start displaying ad units on your pages. You now can start earning with your submitted site or other policy-compliant sites.

What do you think about the change of Adsense application process? Will this really benefit advertisers and publishers as they said?

Long process. Unlike.

Good news Tuan. It was too much. Almost all websites used adsense and it started to look cheap and spamming. Hope after the new procedure ads will be available to more genuine sites and it will increase the importance as well.
What for the existing users of Adsense? Should they register every new website they want to implement code or it is up to the webmasters as it is now?

WoW. There have been some changes in the whole Google department of late, new gmail interface, new gmail accounts interface, g+ implementation and now Adsense. This is a massive shake up within Google and only time will tell how favorable the changes will be

Tuan, I’m happy to see these changes. A lot of people try to beat the system and it’s great to see Google find a simple way to shut them down. Thanks for the heads up!

They also added a system of Domain Ownership verification by adding a snippet to our new posts. Another step added
