In the last few years, I relied on the Ryobi 40V HP blower to clean my yards; It worked fine but couldn’t deliver the power that I expected, therefore, it often struggled in tougher yard tasks. I looked for an upgrade and it looks like the ENHULK 58V leaf blower could be the one. This is probably the most powerful battery-powered leaf blower on the market with an impressive 930 cubic feet per minute (CFM) airflow rate and 200mph air speed.
Design & Features
Out of the box, the package includes the main blower unit, one 5.0Ah battery, a battery charger, three nozzles, and the main blower tube that attaches to the main unit. Assembling the main tube and nozzles to the blower is quite easy with just a few slides. There are 3 nozzles and you can switch between them easily for different purposes. They provide varying air distribution, with the siphon nozzle covering the most ground, followed by the tapered and wide nozzles. Despite the wide nozzle offering highest air velocity, the siphon nozzle was my preferred choice for clearing large areas quickly.
The ENHULK is quite easy to use, there are just a Turbo and Cruise button on top, and an adjustable trigger beneath. The ability to adjust the air output by how hard you squeeze the trigger is incredibly convenient, allowing me to manage the airflow precisely. Additionally, the cruise control allows you to lock in a specific speed, providing comfort and control during prolonged use. This feature is especially useful for minimizing messes and speeding up yard work cleanup. For tasks requiring extra power, the turbo button is a handy feature, particularly effective for wet leaves or heavy debris.
I thought that the ENHULK 58V (with 5.0Ah battery) would be heavier than the RYOBI 40V (with 6.0Ah battery) but it is actually lighter (10 lbs vs 10.6 lbs). Moreover, the blower’s design cleverly balances this weight by angling the blower tube downward towards the ground, making the device easier to manage. There is a strap hook on the side of the blower in case you can’t handle the weight for extended use, however, the strap is not included in the box. I often use the blower for just around 20 minutes and don’t really need the strap.
Another nice feature is that I just can press on the button on the battery to check the battery level. The battery indicator on the battery pack is convenient, with five green lights in a half-circle that illuminate to show the remaining battery life. The only downside is that the ENHULK battery doesn’t snap on/off easily as the RYOBI battery.
Performance
In terms of performance, I thoroughly tested the blower and quite satisfied with it. After fully charging the battery, I used the cruise control to run the leaf blower at max speed and enabled Turbo mode occasionally. The battery lasted about 17 minutes. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours.
The ENHULK with 930CFM airflow doesn’t disappoint me. It performed well with leaves, twigs, pine cones and needles. It cleared a section of my yard as effectively as a manual rake but with significantly less effort. This is really amazing because my RYOBI with 600CFM airflow couldn’t move wet leaves, pine needles or heavy debris.
Conclusion
Overall, the ENHULK 58V leaf blower is a powerful and efficient tool, perfect for various yard tasks. It costs just around $250 and you can’t find such a powerful blower at the low price. We at TechWalls highly recommend the product.
