Apple Officially Unveiled iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S (Keynote Video)

Today is the end to all the rumors about the iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S. Apple announced both devices at the September 10 event which will go on sale from September 20th.

Apparently, majority of the rumors, leaked images and videos about these two device were true. In fact, more than 90% of these came out to be the exactly same things. iPhone 5S Specs

iPhone 5S will be available in 3 different colors – the usual black and white/silver color and the addition of a new color in the iPhone series , the gold color. This color is exclusive to iPhone 5S right now. The rest of the specs are as follows

• 4.0 inch display with 640 x 1136 resolution at 326 ppi density.
• 8MP rear camera with dual LED flash capable of shooting 1080p videos @30fps.
• Apple A7 processor with 2GB RAM.

• Touch ID sensor (fingerprint scanner for security).

iPhone 5C Specs

iPhone 5C on the other hand is considered to be a low budget iPhone 5 but considering its price tag, its definitely not cheaper. iPhone 5C is available in 5 different colors – White, Blue, Green, Yellow and Pink. Following are the specs of the iPhone 5C

• Apple A6 Dual Core 1.3GHz processor with 1GB RAM

Pricing

iPhone 5S is available for $199, $299 and$399 for 16, 32 and 64GB models on two year contract whereas the iPhone 5C is available for $99 and $199 for 16 and 32GB respectively.

The pricings follow the same Apple strategy as except for the fact that the current iPhone 5 still hasn’t got any discount in its price and yet we see iPhone 5C on $99 mark on which iPhone 5 would have been if it was not for it.
