7. New Super Mario Bros. 2
New Super Mario Bros. 2 is a side-scrolling platformer game in the Super Mario series developed by Nintendo. It has a familiar style of gameplay from previous titles as Mario or Luigi collect coins on the way to rescue Princess Peach from Bowser. This isn’t exactly a game for challenge seekers like the original Mario but it still manages to bring you about 10 hours of fun, especially when you play it in the co-op mode with your friend.
6. Kirby: Planet Robobot
Kirby: Planet Robobot is the 14th entry in the Kirby franchise and it doesn’t disappoint anyone. This is an action platformer game with a similar gameplay as previous titles. Kirby can still inhale enemies in order to absorb their powers, what is new is the mech suits (Robobot Armor) that Kirby can pilot. In a nutshell, this is a very entertaining game with its clever use of robotic destruction, gorgeous environmental puzzles and unique bosses.
5. Super Mario 3D Land
Super Mario 3D Land is another platform game developed by Nintendo but it’s superior as compared to the New Super Mario Bros. 2. It’s not only a fun, inventive Mario game, it’s also the reason for turning the system’s stereoscopic 3D slider all the way up. 3D visuals are beautiful and help us judge the depths easier.
