There are many individuals who take their iPhone cases quite seriously. Some people are even willing to pay top dollar for a beautiful but protective iPhone case. However, it isn’t always certain to mix these two factors together. Sometimes, you can have a beautiful iPhone case that won’t stand up to protect your phone when glass hits pavement. Then, you have cases that are so protective you would have sworn they were bullet proof, but are hideous and can barely fit in your sweatpants pocket. Today, we’ll take a look at some of our favorite cases from the top companies in the industry.
Otterbox: The Reflex Series
Otterbox, in my opinion, seems to make very durable and attractive iPhone cases that mix both characteristics up perfectly. My favorite case of the collection is the Reflex Series. The series has the look of those durable but bulky cases, but the case actually fits quite snuggly to the iPhone 4, and it’s pretty lightweight as well. This means that you get the protection without the bulkiness. This is due to the fact that the case acts as a cushion, instead of using tons of material to protect the device. In addition, you can attach and detach the case onto the device in no time!
Griffin: The Threadless Collection
I simply adore Threadless t-shirts. They are t-shirts, hoodies, and other clothing that is designed by both the Threadless team and user submissions. The designs are quite unique and I have even set up a giveaway with them once. Griffin also has partnered with Threadless and now you can have matching iPhone cases with the shirts that you have from the Threadless website. All you have to do is choose the shirt design that you fancy, then request to also have it made in an iPhone case, I love it.
Casemate: iPhone 4 Stacks Case
This is a very creative iPhone case that I fell in love with the moment I saw it. I love how you have the ability to technically piece the iPhone case together. In addition, the iPhone case is just as protective as its one-piece counterparts. The “Stacks” iPhone case is the case that allows you to fully personalize your iPhone case. The case is quite protective because the case is pretty reflexive, this means that you can drop it and the case absorbs the fall. If you want a hip case that you won’t find yourself taking off too much, it can feel like a bit of a chore, then iPhone 4 Stacks case from Casemate is the case for you.
Speck: FabShell Burton for iPhone
These nicely designed and creative iPhone cases are made of durable material and fabric for a unique design concept. In addition, you get protection without all the bulkiness with a slim fit. In addition, the patterns can be personalized, making it a case that is all about you. While this is one of the cases on this list that I haven’t tried out, it is a case I recommend you all to check out. This is the perfect case for individuals, while not looking specifically for durability, still looking for a good design and some protection.
iFrogz: The BullFrogz Case
This case is great, but not my top favorite. This is because you get one of the most durable cases out there, but they are a pain to get in and out of the pants. This is the perfect case for those who don’t put their phone in their pants pocket. It is also for people who have pants pockets that can probably fit a small live kitten. You’ll need some big pockets for this case. This is because it is a silicone case, which collects dust and adds traction. However, for a large amount of protection, this case gets six stars out of five, it is perfect!
