Unlike most traditional power strips, the Bestek has a cube shape with three power outlets on the sides, three 2.4A USB ports and a 3A USB-C port on top. There is also a LED power switch but it is used to turn on/off the USB ports only. That’d be awesome if the switch could also be used for the power outlets.
The power strip can be used on desktop but it won’t help organize your cables better. Therefore, I use the included mounting tape to attach it under my desk. Therefore, I can hide all power adapters and cables are out of my sight. This makes my desktop a lot cleaner.
Another problem I had is that when I mounted a traditional power strip underneath the desk, the huge power adapter of my MacBook Pro got loose and dropped out very often because it is plugged upside down; Now with this Bestek vertical cube strip, it is plugged on the side and becomes a lot more stable.
