CHOETECH has become my favorite brand for smartphone cables and chargers. I’ve tested some of their products recently and I’m satisfied with almost all of them. The CHOETECH T811C-S wireless charging pad is cheap and performs very well. So, I was a little curious to find out what the more expensive CHOETECH T513-S could offer.
Unboxing & Testing
Features & Performance
My first impression of the CHOETECH wireless charger is its premium build quality. Both the top and bottom have a soft-touch finish which feels really great. Besides, the antenna pattern and metal ring running across all sides of the pad make the design less boring. The antenna is also raised rubber to keep your phone steady.
Noticeably, the pad is much larger than my previous charging pad from CHOETECH. And the best feature is that there are 3 coils, which help expand the charging area. There is no longer sweet spot and you basically can place your phone at any position on top of the pad.
Charging my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge from 20% to 100% takes about 2 hours. I didn’t remove the protective case of the phone and the pad still can charge my device at the same speed. The LED indicator on the corner will show you the current charging speed. If it is in standard mode, it will show a solid blue light. On the other hand, the green light indicates it is in the fast wireless charging mode. To fast charge my phone, I had to use the Samsung’s stock charger or any adaptive fast adapter. Notice that your phone and the pad can be a little warmer in this mode.
The CHOETECH T513-S is just a few bucks more expensive than my previous charging pad, and it’s totally worth the extra money. We at TechWalls highly recommend the product.
