When it comes to vacuum cleaners, their prices can’t tell it all. You can spend over $400 for a vacuum like the Dyson DC59 but it might not be as powerful as other cheaper options. The Eureka AirSpeed All Floors AS3011A Upright Vacuum claimed to be even more powerful than the Dyson DC41 while its price is just 1/4th of the Dyson’s. Is the statement true? Let’s check out our review.

Design and Usability
My first impression of the Eureka AirSpeed All Floors is its huge size. Actually it is just as big as many full-size vacuums on the market, but I am used to portable solutions like the Dyson DC59 Animal, so this was a very difficult transition. The Eureka vacuum is significantly bulkier than its direct competition, the Dyson DC41. The whole unit weighs nearly 15 lbs and its dimensions are 13″ x 12.4″ x 43″.
As you can see in the assembly video above, putting the vacuum together is quite easy and it takes just a few minutes. It also includes some useful accessories like the dusting brush, crevice tool, extension wand and upholstery turbo nozzle. All those accessories can be attached to the main unit, so you are always ready to clean different areas.
We can spot an airpath selector knob to choose Tools/Floors on side of the vacuum. Other controls are put on the stand, there are a power switch, a handle release pedal, a brush roll on/off pedal and a height adjustment knob to adjust height for bare floor and low carpet to high carpet.
The whole exterior of the Eureka vacuum is made of plastic but it is quite sturdy and I don’t feel it is like a cheap product. The only problem I had is that the vacuum is quite bulky and difficult to maneuver. You will have to be disappointed if you want to use it to clean low areas like below furniture or your kitchen. The vacuum head is just too big to reach those areas.
An advantage of the vacuum is that it is using a washable dust cup filter which needs to be clean only once per month. So basically you will just need to empty the dust bin after each use.
Performance
In terms of suction power, I was impressed with the Eureka AirSpeed All Floors. You can check out the video below to see its performance on hard floor, carpet and on my sofa.
I must say this is a powerful vacuum and it performs very well on various surfaces. The 5-setting height adjustment is helpful because it can clean low or high pile carpets as well as wood floor without causing any damage. If you want to use it to clean your carpet, I’d recommend you to turn on the brush roll and try the height adjustment from low to high. You will be surprised with the amount of debris it can collect.
While the performance on carpets is impressive, it is a little underwhelming on hard floors. I realize that sometimes it couldn’t pick up dust and hair even when I vacuum the same areas multiple times.
Conclusion
Pros
- Very low price.
- Comes with some helpful tools.
- Powerful suction.
- Great performance on carpets.
Cons
- Heavy and bulky.
- Can’t clean hard floors really well.
The Eureka AirSpeed All Floors AS3011A vacuum is available on Amazon for about $100. I think this is a great value for the powerful vacuum, I’d recommend it if you have a big house with a lot of carpets.

I give the Eureka Airspeed All Floors 5 stars! I have had my vacuum for about 4 years and I have been rough on it. I didn’t even clean the filters for the first 2 years. For the last 2 years I even used it as a carpet shampooer occasionally. But this vacuum has never skipped a beat or even complained, even though I used it for purposes it wasn’t designed for and failed to do maintenance on it.
