The time is near and we might be seeing a new innovation in the world of consumer electronics. A lot of companies are working on producing flexible displays for their products but none have succeeded so far because they cannot go in mass production with such materials.
However, images popped up over the internet showing a Samsung tablet with flexible display and all the major specs that it will have. Earlier this year, Samsung showed working prototype of the same flexible display at the CES so we can say that the concept images might hold some form of truth in them.
Specs of the Samsung Tablet
With the new and innovative display that the new Samsung tablet will be bringing, it should also look solid from hardware point of view. According to the reports, the Samsung tablet will have a 10 inch display along with 1920 x 1080p full HD display. The processor will be Exynos 5 Octa running at 1.6 GHz with 2 GB RAM on board. The storage will come in two variants, 16 and 32GB with an external microSD card slot. There will be a 3MP front facing camera for video conferencing and a hefty 8000mAh battery.
The only noticeable difference is that there is no rear camera spotted in the concept images or in the reports as well and that might kill some people to buy this device. However the news is still not confirmed but still it is a huge thing.
When we look closely at the design, the tablet is thinner from the top and a bit fat from the bottom. This indicates that the bottom surface that is a bit thicker might be the part where it is bendable. It can be bent to make a keyboard or a stand as well.
The concept images did left a lot of questions in our minds and a lot of other speculations as well but one thing is sure and that is, it is going to be a reality soon enough and with Samsung working on it to introduce a Samsung tablet with flexible display, we can get our hands on this thing soon.
