Blogs are high maintenance outlets of your ideas; it requires nurturing and careful management. So, a lot of bloggers wonder: what is it all for?
Monetizing your blog is a good way of getting paid for all the work your put in your blog. However, using advertising methods to do monetize your blog is not ideal because it annoys users, requires filling up a lot of forms. You also need to keep adding and deleting affiliates, which is hard work in itself. So here are a few methods that will generate money from your blog without ads.
Sell stuff
There is no substitute of selling merchandise when it comes to monetizing your blog. Selling does not necessarily mean turning your blog into a full-fledged marketing blog. You can write posts and articles. But if you have a product that relates to the message, the image and the content of your blog, definitely allow customers and readers to buy it through your blog. Bloggers have long been selling both popular brands and non-branded products through their blogs and earning generous revenue. Most popular bloggers are established writers; your blog is popular for a good reason. It means people like what you write, the way you write. So publishing your own eBook is a good idea. If the eBook deals with your blog’s niche, it is even better. In fact, not just eBooks, but shorter content like PDFs, images, video presentations etc. Selling hard copy of books is a good way of monetizing your blog too.
Ask for a helping hand
There is nothing wrong with asking for a donation if you don’t thrust the request at readers’ faces. This means pestering readers with glittery posts about donations is a strict no-no. Of course, most of the readers would pass up the request. However, some might offer some help. Create a donation button on the blog that will allow eager readers to make donations through PayPal.
Provide Paid Guest posting service
Blogs have become very popular as you all know and popularity is synonymous with competition. Naturally, there are many blogs which are looking for good posts that will increase their credibility. Once you get a minimum page rank of 2 with 30 plus domain authority, you can surely make a good amount using this method. If you are confident in your writing ability, you should start a paid guest posting service. If you run a moderately successful blog, you will be surprised to know that a number of new bloggers would pay to feature your articles.
Professional blogging
Even though blog seems like a very personal tool, its proliferation has led to professional blogging. To go pro, you need to have a clear vision of what you want to achieve. Do not make generating more money your first priority. It is taking all the steps mentioned above and generating an elevated service. You have to think outside the box to become a successful blogger, to stand out in the crowd. Create a blog which flaunts all the blogging skill you have acquired, let everyone see what you can do to their blogs.
Review products
A lot of new products are launched online that are not advertised extensively. For these, marketers look for cheap means of generating mass interest. For this purpose, reviews in blogs are ideal. If you can find out such new products that need a bit of promotion, you can earn a few quick bucks. It is important to understand that your readers are not really going to read the reviews thoroughly; they will go on your brand value. That is why it’s crucial to have a substantial About Me section in the blog, so that your readers know you and can trust you. Building a rapport with the readers will automatically lure them to the products, which in turn will generate more money for you. However, while reviewing, you must remember to keep the post partial. The review should also not sound like a sales pitch or advertisement.
These are some typical means of monetizing your blog without showering your readers with advertisements. Even with tips and tricks up your sleeve, you need to learn the basics of sales. With a strong knowledge in marketing, you will easily be able to raise enough money to cover your efforts and more.

Your ideas are very interesting. getting paid for reviews seems like a great idea. But I think it will require a better blog with a huge audience before receiving these products for review. although paid guest posting seems like a good idea.
