HTC One Double Dip Case Review

HTC One is a great-looking phone with aluminum body. However, that’s also its disadvantage as it is so prone to scratches and the marks will stay there forever.

That’s the reason I always use cases for my phones like HTC One, iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S4. The Galaxy S4 has a unique official S-View Cover and I couldn’t stop loving it. How about the HTC One?

HTC released two official cases for HTC One but I see the Hard Shell Case is much better than the Flip Case which has some design flaws.

The Double Dip Hard Shell case covers all the aluminum parts of HTC One and you must think that you will have to sacrifice the aesthetics for protection. In fact, the case is very well made and the whole device looks very sturdy after being applied in the case.

More importantly, the case looks good. It includes 3 pieces, the light grey piece to cover the whole body, the dark grey piece to cover the bottom and the red piece to cover the top.

The case is made of quality policarbonate and covers all aluminum parts of the HTC One. Although you will lose the aluminum feeling, the soft touch finish is not bad actually. The Hard Shell Case fits HTC One perfectly and doesn’t add more bulks to the device. It also has cut-outs for all ports on the phone.

I am using the case and really love it. I am confident that my device won’t be damaged when it is dropped on the ground. The case protects all the vulnerable parts of the HTC One, such as the corners, sides, back and edges. When you drop the phone face-down, the screen will be also alright thanks to raised edges around it.

Overall, this is the best case for HTC One available on the market. If you are looking for a case giving full protection for the HTC One, this is it.
