Inateck MP1503 Macbook 15.4-inch Case Cover Laptop Bag Felt Sleeve Review

By Tuan Do

If you own an expensive laptop like the Macbook Pro 15.4 inches with Retina Display, you might want to protect it better when you carry it around. A laptop bag or a sleeve could be your solution, today we are checking out the Inateck MP1503 Macbook 15.4-inch Case Cover Laptop Bag Felt Sleeve.

Overview Video

Design and Protection

The product comes in two pieces. Apart from a sleeve for the MacBook, there is an extra small felt bag for your mouse or charger but I prefer using it to keep my iPhone 6 Plus. The sleeve looks quite stylish in grey color and the exterior is made of high-quality felt material. All compartments of this sleeve have flannel lining which is very soft for the laptop itself. The main compartment fits perfectly for my MacBook Pro, that means it can hold the laptop very tight but you won’t be able to plug any peripheral into your laptop. I have a receiver for my wireless trackball and I always have to remove it before inserting the laptop into the sleeve.

On top of that, there is a pocket on the front to keep your thin stuffs like books, magazines or tablets. The main compartment and the pocket are secured by a rubber elastic tape sealing. You can also find two small pockets on the back which are supposed to keep our phone or earphones but I won’t recommend using these pockets because your stuffs can easily slip out.

In terms of protection, this sleeve is absolutely not the best solution although the flannel material can absorb shock. The layer is just not enough to protect your laptop from damages.

The Inateck MP1503 sleeve is on sale on Amazon for $17.99. I am not using it because I prefer more convenience and storage space on a laptop bag. However, this is a high-quality sleeve and you might love it.
