There are numerous choices when it comes to USB Type-C hubs. This has become an essential accessory for many laptop users these days because new devices like Macbook only has USB-C connection. I’ve tested dozens of them and found out many are rubbish. Is the Lention CB-C37 a good one? We’re going to find out in the review.

Features & Performance
The hub features a long 3.3ft cable which offers more flexibility to your desktop setup. Most USB-C hubs out there have very short cable, so we often had to place the hub next to the computer or laptop.
On the left side, we have a HDMI port and a USB-C port. Notably, the USB-C port supports power delivery up to 60W, so you can use it to recharge other devices. The HDMI port supports the resolution up to 4K(3840×2160) @30Hz, the refresh rate is higher at 60Hz for resolution of 2560×1600 or lower.
On the front, we have a microSD card and a SD card reader (support UHS-1 up to 95 MB/s), dual USB 3.0 ports, another USB-C port with speed up to 5Gbps, and a 3.5mm audio port for microphone or headphones.
As a SD card reader, the Lention CB-C37 is the fastest in my test as its speeds reach 32MB/s and 89MB/s for writing and reading respectively. I used a UHS-I Speed Class 3 (U3) SD card with advertised speeds of 60MB/s and 95MB/s for this test.
I also tested the USB-C port on the front with my G-DRIVE mobile SSD. The writing and reading speeds were 408MB/s and 421MB/s. As compared to connecting directly to my Macbook, the speeds are about 10%-15% slower.
Overall, this is a very well-built product and the speeds of all those ports are very impressive. We at TechWalls recommend the product. If you buy it on Amazon, you can use the promo code LEN20C37 to save 20%.
