Last month we heard a rumor that said LG was going to launch the Optimus Big that would take the same NOVA LCD technology found in the 4 inch Optimus Black and make it up to 4.3 inches. Today, the rumor has just been proved.
LG has officially announced the Optimus Big, or LG LU6800, and said that it will launch first on LG U+, the 3rd largest operating in South Korea on the April 28th.
LG Optimus Big ships with Android Froyo 2.2 and will be updated to Gingerbread 2.3 in the near future. It is also equipped with a 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus, a dual core 1 GHz processor. There hasn’t been information on its international release yet, but LG absolutely will launch Optimus Big LU 6800 worldwide soon.
