I started testing true wireless earphones a few years ago but I was hugely disappointed. The first products released at the time were terrible; Some didn’t have the right sound balance between the two earpieces, some kept losing connection, and some stopped functioning after a few weeks. At that time, I knew that we would have to wait a few more years for more usable true wireless earbuds. And now it’s the right time.
There are a lot of choices at the moment and you can find them from many well-known brands like Sennheiser, Bang & Olufsen, Apple, or Sony. In this post, we are checking out the Master & Dynamic MW07 true wireless earphones.

Design & Features
Master & Dynamic was really quick in adding new products to their headphones lineup. The MW07 is released when people are more interested in true wireless earbuds and want to make an upgrade from wired options.
Similar to previous products, the Master & Dynamic MW07 earphones look a lot more attractive than their competitions. Inside the box, we have a canvas pouch, a USB adaptor, a USB-C charging cable, some ear tips, fit wings, and the two ear pieces inside their charging case.
The stainless steel case looks amazing and I’m really impressed with its sleek look. Unfortunately, the glossy exterior is prone to scratches; Although I was very careful when handling the case, I started seeing some visible scratches after just a week. According to the manufacturer, the case can provide 3 additional charges and each charge lasts 3.5 hours. That means if you fully charge the earphones and the charging case, the total playback time could reach 14 hours. I couldn’t measure the battery life precisely, however, I use the earphones for around 1-2 hours per day and I just need to recharge the case after more than a week. The listening time of around 3 hours per charge is good enough for most average users. A full charge for the case takes just 40 minutes, so I don’t have to worry about the battery life at all.
The MW07 has a truly interesting design and I have no doubt that these are the most stylish true wireless earbuds on the market. The body of the earpieces is made of acetate which is more durable and flexible than plastic. Moreover, the material is still fairly lightweight, and the pattern/color of each piece doesn’t look the same, so we all will have a unique pair of earphones.
Comfort and fit are among the most important aspects when buying true wireless earbuds because we could drop and lose them if they don’t fit our ears perfectly. In this area, the MW07 once again amazes me. Despite having a somewhat large body, the MW07 is quite lightweight and I really love the fit wings that would lock the earpieces into my ears and help them stay securely and comfortably. I don’t have to press them hardly to my ear canals and still, I don’t have to worry about losing them even when walking on the street. The earbuds might get loose a little when I am running, jumping or shaking head like crazy, but they won’t come out easily. Therefore, I think they would be fine for daily workouts.
Master & Dynamic places control buttons on both of the earpieces. On the left one, we have volume rockers to adjust the volume level; On the right one, we have a multi-function button to play/pause, answer/end phone calls, or skip songs. Another nice feature is that the earphones are equipped with optical sensors to detect if we are wearing them. Once I remove one of the earpieces, the music stops automatically and resumes as soon as I wear it again. Besides, the Bluetooth connection is quite stable and I’ve never had any interruption when using the product.
Audio Quality
Most of the previous Master & Dynamic headphones that I’ve tested have average to good audio quality. None of them could qualify to become my daily driver although there have been a lot of improvements in recent products. The M&D MW07 is their first attempt in the true wireless earbuds market and they’ve already become my favorites. I’ve tested the earphones thoroughly in the last 2 months and they are really unbeatable in their market, at least for my taste.
I compared the sound between the M&D MW07 and the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless earbuds, somehow the MW07 came out as the winner. I even compared it to the full-size M&D MW65 over-ear headphones and the MW07 is still my favorite. It is really amazing that the tiny 10mm Beryllium drivers could deliver a richer and more expansive sound than many full-size headphones.
The bass is boosted moderately to entertain our ears without affecting the lower mids; I guess many people will love the deep and punchy bass. The mids are really smooth and I don’t hear any distortion when playing music at a high volume level. The treble is also well extended but it doesn’t cause any treble spike, so we have an airy sound with great stereo imaging. The result is a clear and detailed sound that is suitable for a wide range of music genres. Besides, the audio separation between frequency ranges is surprisingly great and this helps us hear the details in vocals and instruments clearly.
Notably, the noise isolation of the MW07 is great even it doesn’t have active noise cancellation. I used them on some flights and they really could get rid of some ambient noise without the need to crank up volume.
Conclusion
Pros
- Durable and beautiful construction
- Snugly fit
- Amazing audio quality
Cons
- Average battery life
The M&D MW07 is undoubted among the best true wireless earbuds on the market. It has both great look and sound quality, so we at TechWalls highly recommend the product.

These EarPods get great reviews for sound quality which is there target audience however at this price most would use them for making phone calls and you did not cover the call quality aspect! Can you please!!! For $300 for these or the Seinnheiser Momentum I would hope they are also great on call quality. What I read appears otherwise, there are lacking in that area.
