This year Microsoft sure is applying some aggressive marketing promotions with their Xbox One over PlayStation 4 deal and their $250 store credit deal over old used smartphones. Now Microsoft have kicked its deals to a whole new level and to be honest it looks pretty amazing too.
The deal is already in motion and it’s the same like before which is to bring your old smartphones but instead of store credit you are getting a Nokia Lumia smartphone instead and not one of the entry level smartphones either but the high end Nokia Lumia 1020 or 1520. Yes, the company will exchange any of the old smartphone like Samsung Galaxy S2, iPhone 4 and 4s but there are some restrictions to it as well.
To be able to eligible for the deal you will have to be in US, you then have to look for a Microsoft store and get advantage of this deal. As both of these smartphones are AT&T exclusives so you can either have a new 2 years contract with Ma Bell or you can use your existing one if you have one that is the only way. Lastly the phones should be in good working condition and will you will also have to provide them with original charger and box/accessories. The phone mentioned above are the only phones that can be exchanged.
To us this seems like an amazing deal as the users will get to experience a new OS and a new smartphone whereas they don’t even have to pay any extras in order to do that. We are sure you will enjoy the big screen on the Lumia 1520 phablet or the high 41MP camera on the Lumia 1020. Microsoft looks pretty dedicated towards capturing the market because deals like this would attract a lot of customers plus these two phone are soon going to be updated to the latest Windows 8.1 and they will get to have a new smartphone and the latest OS that it offers.
