If you’re like me, then you’d rather delegate house chores to someone (or something) else. That hits even closer to home for those who have pets that shed hair all around the house. To take some chores out of people’s busy lives, Noesis is slashing the price of its F10 Pro 2-in-1 robot vacuums and mop by $200 for National Pet Month.
We’ve tried and covered plenty of combo robot vacuum before, but what caught our eye is the way the F10 Pro handles mopping. Many high-end robot vacuums have opted for reusable mop pads. When the robot is docked, the mop pads are then washed and dried for the next cleaning task.
On the contrary, the F10 pro has instead implemented the Auto Mop Change 2.0 system. As its name implies, the disposable mop pads are automatically replaced at the base station once they’re too dirty. The dirty mops are deposited inside a compartment in the base station, which can hold up to 20 dirty sheets.
Noesis touted the benefits of this system in its press release: using new mop pads means it sidesteps the issue of diminishing cleaning power as the mop pad becomes worn. It also houses fewer bacteria than reusable mop pads and is quicker to return to cleaning since changing mop pads is way faster than washing them. Furthermore, the process is far quieter than washing and drying the mop for a couple of hours.
When it comes to mopping, the F10 Pro pushes the mop against the floor and vibrates at up to 420 times a minute to mimic a human’s efforts. When it detects carpeted areas, it can lift its mop to prevent soiling it.
As for its vacuuming prowess, the F10 Pro features 5,100Pa suction. It’s a bit lower than its competitors, but Noesis says the robot uses taller and denser rubber baffle bars around the vents to help it vacuum more effectively. To sweep up dirt, the F10 Pro uses an anti-tangle rubber roller brush and a corner brush. The robot is also shaped like the letter “D” to better reach into corners and edges. The collected dust is automatically emptied into the base station’s dust bag, which has a 2.5L capacity and only needs to be changed up to every six months.
It isn’t a robot vacuum without some robot wizardry. The F10 Pro uses laser distance sensor navigation to get around and Dual NeuralVision obstacle detection to avoid objects and cliffs. The companion smartphone app lets users remotely set virtual walls, schedule cleaning, and track the robot’s location in real-time. After every cleaning, the app generates a cleaning report that shows the user where it’s cleaned.
After the discount, the Noesis F10 Pro is still quite an investment at $1,599.00 on Amazon. The disposable mop pads are $12.99 for 80. Common replacement parts, such as side brushes, rubber roller brush, filters and dust bags are also readily available from the Noesis Amazon store.
