The OxyLED X7 is the 2nd desk lamp I’ve reviewed from the manufacturer. The first one is the OxyLED T4S, I love that lamp but it’s out of budget of most average consumers. The OxyLED X7 costs just half the price of the T4S’. Is it a good lamp, we’re going to find out in the review.

Design & Performance
Unlike the OxyLED T4S, the X7 doesn’t have a desk clamp. It looks like any other traditional desk lamp out there with a bulky base. The base is heavy enough to keep the lamp sit sturdily on my desktop. You can also find a control dial on top of the base. Notably, there are 2 USB ports on the left side, you can use them to charge your mobile devices. However, the 2 ports support the maximum output of 1A only, so it might take much longer to fully charge your smartphone.
With the touch-sensitive control, you can adjust the brightness and color temperature of the lamp. Just touch the dimmer wheel to change among 6 brightness levels and tap on the middle power button to change between 2 color temperatures. The lamp features a white and warm color with the color temperature of 3000K and 5000K respectively.
The OxyLED X7 doesn’t have a futuristic design as the Xiaomi Mi Lamp but it delivers a much brighter light. I placed them side by side and saw a huge difference. The LED light gives us more than 330 lumens. quite impressive for a desk lamp at this size. Besides, the lamp is quite flexible as you can twist or turn its arm to any angle and height.

The OxyLED X7 is a fantastic LED desk lamp. It has a flexible body and a very bright LED light, all for an acceptable price tag. I just wish that the design could be a little more attractive.
