Design and operation
Redroad G10 box contains the main body of the sweeping robot, the base station, 2 side brushes, 2 mops, 450ml dust collection box, HEPA filter, V-shape main brush, 1 small brush for solving the problem of dust box cleaning and hair entanglement, 4.5L clean water tank, 4L sewage tank, cleaning brush and charging cable, and instruction manual.
The top of the main unit has two buttons which are the on/off button and the recharge button for starting/shutting down the machine and starting/stopping the recharge. The base station also has two buttons on it, which are sweep and mop key for starting/stopping cleaning, and recharge and clean key for starting/pause cleaning mop and air drying (long press for 3s).
Setting up is easy, you just need to install the app, add the sweeper and connect it to a 2.4GHz WIFI network. On first use, thanks to the LDS laser navigation technology, it quickly maps the room accurately and then starts to clean all corners of the room by planning the best route. Sweeping, mopping and washing all in one, effectively cleaning floor stains
I was very pleased with Redroad G10’s excellent sweeping, mopping and washing functions. It can vacuum and mop the floor at the same time, automatically clean the dirty mop, and accurately avoid obstacles such as shoes and tables, which saved me a lot of time and kept my floors and carpets clean.
After testing, Redroad G10 was able to easily suck the dust, hair and coffee grounds mixture from the floor into the dust box with its 2800Pa suction power.
Meanwhile, G10’s wet mop by using the way of human hands to wipe the floor and vibrating at 3,000 vibrations per minute to easily remove footprints or stubborn stains on floor.
What I am most satisfied with is Redroad G10’s 10㎡auto return to wash function. When the mopping reaches 10 square meters, it will automatically lift the dirty mop and return to the base station to clean the mop automatically. Waiting for the cleaning to be completed, it will lift the mop to return to the last cleaning position and continue cleaning. This effectively avoids the trouble of dirty mop getting dirtier and dirtier.
The mop lifts of 8mm for one-time cleaning of floors and carpets
Redroad G10’s auto lift mop works great. When the ultrasonic sensor recognizes that there is carpet in front, it automatically lifts the mop by 8mm and boosts suction to capture more debris. This is a great feature as it cleans floors and carpets in one go without having to make complicated settings in the app. Note that if you have a long velvet pile carpet with more than 8mm in your home, it is best to prohibit cleaning on such carpets, otherwise the wet mop will come into direct contact with the surface of the carpet.
