The case is made from premium leather and fabric, so I find it quite comfortable holding the phone. Zenus tried to make the case very lightweight and provide the best grip for users, and I really love it.
While the back and front are protected with those high-quality materials, the 2 sides of your iPhone will also be covered with a transparent polycarbonate hard frame. Therefore, you will still can show off the aluminum body of your phone.
However, this phone has a lot of problems as well. Firstly, it caused a small scratch on my iPhone 5S because the polycarbonate frame is very hard, you will be very careful when put your phone in or take it out of the case.
Another issue is that probably you won’t be able to use the iPhone with one hand again. You will need another hand to open/close the front cover and fold it back. Besides, you won’t be able to charge your phone when the front cover is closed. Using the camera will become much more difficult as well. All of them are serious design issues in my opinion.
The materials of the Zenus case look great, but it has disadvantages also. Zenus stated that the case could be easily contaminated when kept with colored product or in humid environment, you will also need to careful with the leather surfaces as well.
Zenus Rock Vintage Folder Case is available for $32 on MobileFun now, however, I can’t recommend this case despite its great look. If you can sacrifice the convenience for a beautiful vintage look, this is a good choice for you.
